A Short Introduction

I have always enjoyed being the part of a collaboration, a part of a project that is meant to work in someone's favor. I have seen this kind of work firsthand as a civil engineer. However, I wanted to become more involved in the building process. I chose to study software engineering and have really enjoyed it. Here, you can check out the work I have been doing.

Personal Trainer Website

This is a website that was built for a client who wanted to create contact forms for their own potential clients.

The website is short and concise, but does the job it needs to do. A quick introduction to the personal trainer, as well as a form to quickly get into contact.

Construction Website

Having worked on some construction sites in the past myself, this website was quite fun to work on.

The construction company wanted to showcase their past projects, as well as the ones they are currently working on. Available to the website visitor, are also different forms of contact for quotes and questions. This website was aimed towards residential construction but can fit the needs of larger, heavier construction.

About Me

In the individualistic perspective, I believe I am more than just being an engineer. Part of creating good relationships with clients is also being ourselves; being human. That's why I believe it is good for you to get to know me as well.

My parents are first generation immigrants from Guatemala and I am born, raised, and continue to live in Brooklyn, NY. Being from here has shaped my life entirely. Living in such a multicultural place has allowed me to learn from peoples around the world, from many walks of life. That, in effect, has influenced the goals I want to achieve in this life.

In my free time, I especially enjoy photography. I like being able to capture moments in time, and I think it allows us to appreciate the small details in life. You can check some of my pictures out in the contact tab, where you will find a link to my instagram page.

I also enjoy traveling. I have many aspirations about where I want to visit in the future, and I think connecting with other people, other cultures, is of utmost importance to truly open the mind. I have had the pleasure of visiting places like Paris, Barcelona, San Juan in Puerto Rico, and different locations in Guatemala.

I am an alumnus of the University at Buffalo, where I studied civil engineering. I do intend to continue some of my education at some point. I am excited for what the future may hold! Another goal of mine is also to learn the guitar again. I used to enjoy playing what little I knew in high school, but now I want to continue playing again, and learn more. The world is truly limitless with what we can do.
